Mmmmm!!! Perfection!

The girl was even all smiles at the dentist!!! No kidding, the kid who freaks over toothpaste let the dentist count her teeth! She even allowed a polish (with no toothpaste, of course)…maybe that doesn’t count?

Look who else is happy!

Serious “Grumpitude”

This is the face of frustration.  “Mommy, those kids keep running into me”  We are working on having a positive attitude, but it was tough today!

You wouldn’t know it by this photo, but she really did have fun today at soccer camp.

Look who else is grumpy!

This mom is hoping that the girl and the puppy are happy tomorrow!

Goal!!

While she was flat on the couch, the girl would tell me that she wanted a shirt with a number so that she could play soccer. So, we made soccer our goal!

The girl finished her first session of swimming and was promoted to Oskar 2! She also earned her goggles (from Mommy) for putting her face in the water every day, and painted toenails for being a good listener.

Session 2 of swimming started today!

Swimming has helped the girl get stronger, but the goal is to run and play soccer. I thought it would take us until fall to get there, but we’re giving it a try this week.

Lil’ Kickers Soccer started today. This class is for three year olds. It was hard to remember that you aren’t supposed to pick up the ball!

Learning footwork by “planting trees” (for those of you who forget what it’s like to be 3, the cones are trees and they had to get them standing using only their feet). The girl was pretty good at this:

After the trees were planted, the kids were supposed to move the ball through them without knocking them over.

The resulting “clear cut” caused the girl much distress.

Despite the loss of “trees”, the girl had a ton of fun and is excited for tomorrow!

A busy week

Daddy has two buddies to help him celebrate father’s day this year!

Someone got her “real bow” and has been busy practicing (and “composing”).

Swimming is lots of fun, and the girl is actually starting to look like she’s swimming.

The big truck

The girl had an MRI this morning to see about those tickly feet. The cool part was that the MRI was in a truck! They let her look before she was sedated. When she woke up the first thing she asked was “when do I ride in the truck?” Thankfully she believed me when I told her that she had just finished a ride. No news yet, but I’ll post when we learn something.

ants

that’s what the girl says her feet feel like.  This isn’t good news.  I noticed that she was back up on her toes last week (while we were at the beach).  Finally yesterday she told me that her feet felt funny.  The doctor ordered an MRI that will happen tomorrow morning.  We are hoping that there is nothing to report after this downer of a post, but we won’t know until after the MRI tomorrow morning.  Until then, here is a picture of the girl playing “ANTS” on her cello…
