This girl ran a mile in PE this week!

She did terrific and is preparing for a 5K!

Her cheering section was a good motivator.

She finished strong…and her expression was priceless!!!

Last weekend was the spring concert. We are excited that the girl is playing some advanced pieces now. She certainly enjoys playing with the big kids. There are consequences though. She was really hard to see. The concert was a “Where’s Waldo” of sorts. See what I mean?

 She started out somewhat visible…
…but as the concert progressed…

… It was harder and harder to find her.

I can’t believe that the girl just had her 9th cello recital!  She’s come a LONG way since she performed “ANTS” at her first recital.  This mom is VERY proud.  Here is the portrait for the week:

If you would like to hear her performance of Webster’s Scherzo, you can find it here.

The girl worked hard on this piece, and I know it helped her develop musically. I’m very proud!!! I know I’ve said that already, but it’s true.

I loved her “Scherzo face”- her amazing concentration!

The recital was fun and lots of friends came to celebrate with the girl!

Thanks for coming Nonnie!

Thanks for all of the flowers, everyone!!
